Can I wear my ring while working with tools?

In general, it's best to remove your ring when working with tools, especially power tools, machinery, or equipment that could catch, crush, or put pressure on the ring.

Even highly durable materials like tungsten and titanium can become damaged if subjected to heavy impacts. More importantly, wearing a ring while using tools can increase the risk of finger injuries if the ring becomes caught on equipment or trapped between objects.

Removing your ring while working can help:

  • Reduce the risk of injury
  • Prevent damage to the ring
  • Improve comfort and grip
  • Protect the ring's finish from scratches and impacts

If your job or hobby involves regular tool use, consider storing your ring safely until you've finished. While tungsten rings are built to handle everyday wear, workplace safety should always come first.
